Silmarillion: The Valar by spiegelscherben Silmarillion: The Valar by spiegelscherben
Finally managed to make vectors for all the Valar, even though it's really not needed, but I've always loved lists of pantheons (panthea?).

Yes. Yes, there is a Pony version of it: [link]

Awesome version of the Valar, in a sort of Tolkien Schoolhouse Rock style of illustration.

You mixed up Yavann and Vana (They are very similar but Vana makes things flower, hence the symbol) but everything else is right! :-)

It seemed strange to see Yavanna in pink and not greeen, but why does she have a heart as a symbol?

Hmm well - since she basically is the fertility goddess of the Valar I just found it fitting I guess. She "makes things grow" so an alternative might have been a leaf or an apple I suppose, but I found that at the same time too specific and too vague.

I'd imagine she's more connected with the fertility of the soil and crops that *that kind* of fertility :giggle: I'd say a spike of corn could be an appropriate symbol for her.
